    This study aims to look at improving student learning outcomes in the materials division using a thematic approach based teaching materials. This research is a classroom action research (Claassroom Action Research) with a research subject graders IIA MI Ahliyah 2 Palembang, the second semester of 2014/2015 the number of students 28 people, consisting of 14 male students and 14 female students. This study was conducted by two cycles following the model of a Class Action Research & McTaggart Kemmis models which consists of four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The process of collecting data by using observation and tests. Based on this research, the data obtained in the first cycle who scored ≥ 70 there were 17 students with learning completeness percentage amounted to 60.71% of students had reached the indicators of success and the second cycle there are 23 students who reached a value ≥ 70 on the percentage of students learning completeness by 82 , 14% had reached an indicator of success. With the student response rate reached 76.56% in the first cycle and the second cycle reaches 81.25%. It can be concluded that learning by using a thematic approach based teaching materials division performed in this research was effective, because it can improve student learning outcomes in the distribution of matter in class IIA MI Ahliyah II Palemban

    Ditinjau dari analisis hasil belajar dan respon secara umum peserta didik menunjukan sikap senang dalam mengikuti pembelajaran materi sistem koordinat polar dan mudah memahami dalam konsep materi yang diberikan dengan memanfaatkan pembelajaran terpadu tipe connected ini sesuai dengan tujuan penelitian yaitu untuk memaparkan peningkatan hasil belajar dan respon dari peserta didik. Penelitian ini dilakukan di  kelas VIII.F MTs Muqimus Sunnah Palembang Semester Ganjil Tahun Pelajaran 2022/2023 berjumlah 23 orang dan merupakan subjek dalam penelitian. Jenis dari penelitian adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK), prosedur dalam penghimpunan data dilakukan melalui cara mengamati kegiatan pembelajaran dan tes. Dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran peserta didik dikelompokan menjadi 5 kelompok berdasarkan  kemampuan yang berbeda-beda dan diberikan LKPD yang menarik, setiap kelompok mempresentasikan hasilnya. Peningkatan aktivitas belajar matematika dalam setiap siklusnya dilaksanakan dengan cukup efektif  karena bisa meningkatkan prestasi belajar dalam matematika dan respon peserta didik. Peningkatan dan respon tergambar dari persentase hasil tes peserta didik yang didapat baik dari  siklus I ataupun siklus  II secara berturut-turut yaitu ketuntasan belajar sebesar 65% dan ketuntasan belajar sebesar 77%. Sedangkan hasil pengelohan data respon peserta didik menunjukan respon yang sangat positif tentang pembelajaran dengan penggunaan pembelajaran terpadu tipe connected pada sistem koordinat polar di kelas VIII.Fconnected, Hasil Belajar, Respon, PT

    This study aims to develop instrument for measuring mathematical communication skills of student prospective mathematics teacher. Development of this instrument used ADDIE model that has five steps: analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate, but in this study only done until the develop step. This instrumen test consists of five items essay test. Validation of this test performed twice that is content validation and empirical validation. The result content validity and emperical validation is all of item valid. After that, to know the reliability, the differentiating power, and the difficulty of item in the instrument conducted trials. The result show that valid items have reliabity coefficient Alpha Cronbach is 0,708, the diffrentiating power of item is enough and the difficulty of item in middle categorized. This result shows that the instrument of mathematical communication test that has been developed valid and reliable. So, the instrument can be used as an instrument of data collection research

    TINGKAT MATHEMATICS ANXIETY PADA MAHASISWA CALON GURU MATEMATIKA

    Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui tingkat Mathematics Anxiety (MA) pada mahasiswa calon guru matematika di Universitas Muhammadiyah Palembang. Subjek penelitian ini adalah 58 mahasiswa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode deskriptif kualitatif. Proses pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, kuisioner, dan wawancara. Berdasarkan penelitian yang telah dilakukan diketahui kriteria kecemasan yang mendominasi adalah kecemasan pada tes/ujian matematika dan kecemasan pada tugas matematika dan perhitungan numerikal. Pada domain kognitif meliputi: kesulitan untuk mengingat dan menggunakan prosedur matematika dan ketergantungan yang besar kepada orang lain. Pada domain sikap meliputi: sikap sangat berhati-hati dalam menyelesaikan persoalan dan melakukan tindakan komplusif ketika kehabisan ide untuk menyelesaikan soal matematika yang sedang dikerjakan. Pada domain somatik meliputi: jantung berdebar kencang ketika dosen mengadakan quiz secara mendadak, merasa mual dan pusing mendadak ketika mempersentasikan tugas di depan kelas. Pada domain representasi matematis yaitu sulit mengemukakan pendapat dihadapan dosen dan teman lain, paham ketika dosen menerangkan suatu materi namun kesulitan mengerjakan tugas yang diberikan dosen, dan kesulitan dalam menginterpretasikan soal cerita menjadi kalimat matematika

    This study aims to produce worksheets based on the ICARE approach that are valid and practical and have a potential effect on algebraic arithmetic operations material. This research is a development research or Development Research. The LKPD development process goes through two stages, namely the preliminary stage and the formative evaluation stage. The LKPD was declared valid after being validated by three experts based on: 1. ICARE characteristics, 2. The suitability of the material to basic competencies and indicators of competency achievement, and 3. Grammatical compatibility according to the General Guidelines for Indonesian Spelling (PUEBI). While the practicality of LKPD is seen from the responses of students in small groups in answering questions. The potential effect is seen from the results of students' final ability tests. student learning outcomes obtained an average final grade of  85.35 which means that student learning outcomes are classified as very good.     Pengembangan Bahan Ajar Lembar Kerja Siswa (LKS) Materi Lingkaran dengan Pendekatan Investigasi Kelas VIII SMP

    This study aims to design and produce teaching materials in the form of mathematics learning worksheets with an investigative approach to circle material. The research used is Development Research. The development of this circle material is carried out following two main stages of development research, namely the preliminary study stage (preparation stage, model development (design) stage) and formative evaluation stage which includes prototyping (self evaluation, expert review, one-to-one, and small group). and field tests. The subjects in this study were students of class VIII at SMP Negeri 41 Palembang as many as 40 students. In this study, the data collection techniques used were documentation, walkthroughs, and learning outcomes tests. Based on the results of the study, students who graduated with scores above the KKM were 81.58% with a total of 31 students, which means that the developed worksheets have a potential effect on student learning outcomes

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan lembar kerja siswa berbasis pendekatan contextual teaching and learning pada materi prisma dan limas. Jenis penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan (development research) dengan dua tahap utama yaitu tahap preliminary (tahap persiapan, tahap pengembangan model) dan tahap formatif evaluation (tahap evaluasi dan tahap revisi). Subjek penelitian penelitian ini berjumlah 30 siswa yang terdiri dari 12 laki-laki,  18 perempuan, dan seluruhnya merupakan siswa kelas VIII7 di SMP Negeri 7 Palembang. Teknik analisis data dilakukan dengan menganalisis dokumentasi, walkthrough, dan data hasil belajar. Rata-rata hasil belajar siswa yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini adalah 77,57 dengan 20 siswa mendapatkan nilai 75 dan 9 siswa mendapatkan nilai < 75, menandakan bahwa hasil belajar siswa tergolong cukup baik dan penelitian yang dikembangkan memiliki efek potensial

    Penelitian ini bertujuan menghasilkan instrumen evaluasi hasil belajar siswa  pada materi statistik berbasis game kuis menggunakan Adobe Flash CS5 yang valid dan praktis serta mengetahui efek potensial dari penggunaan instrumen evaluasi pada materi statistik berbasis game kuis menggunakan Adobe Flash CS5 yang telah dikembangkan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode pengembangan (development Research). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa instrumen evaluasi berbasis game kuis menggunakan Adobe Flash yang valid dan praktis. Kriteria kevalidan terlihat dari hasil koreksi oleh ahli media, materi dan bahasa yang disimpulkan bahwa instrumen evaluasi berbasis game kuis sudah baik dan layak untuk dikembangkan, dari segi kepraktisannya terlihat pada saat melakukan uji coba small group yang menyatakan tidak ada kesulitan dalam pengoperasian media tersebut tanpa bantuan orang lain dan dapat mengerjakan soal kuis dengan baik. Berdasarkan analisis data hasil belajar siswa kelas XII Mia 1 diperoleh rata-rata 85,67 dengan kategori tergolong baik dan memiliki efek potensial terhadap hasil belajar siswa

    KONTEKS KULINER TRADISIONAL SUMATERA SELATAN DALAM LKPD PMRI BERBASIS MASALAH OPEN ENDED DI SEKOLAH DASAR

    Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan  bahan ajar LKPD pendekatan PMRI menggunakan masalah open ended materi pecahan senilai di kelas IV SD  yang valid, praktis, dan memiliki efek potensial terhadap hasil belajar yang ditinjau dari hasil tes akhir belajar peserta didik. LKPD ini dikembangkan dengan menggunakan konteks kuliner tradisional Sumsel yang merupakan kearifan local. Konteks kuliner yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Pempek Lenjer, Pempek Lenggang dan Wajik Ketan yang merupakan makanan keseharian masyarakat Sumatera Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian pengembangan yang terdiri dari tahap Preliminary yang diadopsi dari Akker dan Formative Evaluation menggunakan alur Tessmer. Peserta didik kelas IV SD Negeri 4 Makarti Jaya sebanyak 20 orang adalah subjek dalam penelitian ini. Teknik pengumpulan data dengan menggunakan walkthrough, dokumentasi  dan tes. Analisis data pada penelitian ini adalah analisis produk LKPD yang diperoleh dari hasil  walkthrough, dokumentasi dan tes. Hasil analisis data diperoleh LKPD yang valid dan praktis. Valid dapat dilihat dari hasil penilaian validator, yaitu validator konstruks, validator isi/content, dan validator bahasa. Selaras dengan keterbacaan LKPD oleh peserta didik di tahap one-to-one. Kepraktisan terlihat dari hasil komentar dan respon peserta didik pada tahap small group bahwa peserta didik senang menggunakan LKPD yang dikembangkan. Hasil analisis data tes yang telah dilakukan pada tahap field test diperoleh rata-rata nilai akhir peserta didik yaitu 85,04 yang menunjukkan bahwa hasil belajar peserta didik termasuk dalam kategori baik sekali, maka disimpulkan bahwa LKPD yang telah dikembangkan memiliki efek potensial terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik.This study aims to develop LKPD teaching materials using the PMRI approach using open ended problems of equivalent fraction material in grade IV SD which are valid, practical, and have a potential effect on learning outcomes in terms of the results of students' final learning tests. This LKPD was developed using the traditional culinary context of South Sumatra which is local wisdom. The culinary contexts used in this study are Pempek Lenjer, Pempek Lenggang and Wajik Ketan which are the daily food of the people of South Sumatra. This study uses a development research method which consists of the Preliminary stage adopted from Akker and Formative Evaluation using the Tessmer flow. There were 20 students in grade IV at SD Negeri 4 Makarti Jaya as the subjects in this study. Data collection techniques using walkthroughs, documentation and tests. Data analysis in this study is an analysis of LKPD products obtained from the results of walkthroughs, documentation and tests. The results of data analysis obtained LKPD are valid and practical. Valid can be seen from the results of the validator's assessment, namely the construct validator, content validator, and language validator. In line with the readability of LKPD by students in the one-to-one stage. The practicality can be seen from the results of the comments and responses of students at the small group stage that students enjoy using the developed LKPD. The results of the analysis of test data that has been carried out at the field test stage obtained an average final score of students, namely 85.04 which indicates that student learning outcomes are included in the very good category, so it is concluded that the LKPD that has been developed has a potential effect on participant learning outcomes educate

    Studi Eksperimen Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning terhadap Hasil Belajar Matematika Siswa Materi Barisan dan Deret Kelas XI

    One of the learning models that can be used to involve students in solving a problem is a problem based learning model that can be a bridge in the learning process of mathematics. The purpose of this study is to determine whether there is an effect of the problem based learning model on the mathematics learning outcomes of the material of sequences and series in class XI of SMA Negeri 5 Prabumulih. The population in this study were all students of class XI SMA Negeri 5 Prabumulih with a sample of class XI IPA 1 as the experimental class and class XI IPA 2 as the control class. Based on the calculation of student learning outcomes using the problem based learning model, totaling 36 students, the average value = 75,00 and the standard deviation value is = 12,479 and student learning outcomes without using the problem based learning model are 33. students, obtained an average value of  = 53,94 and the standard deviation is = 13,565. After the data were analyzed, the values of tcount = 6.718 and ttable = 1.998 were obtained. This means that t count is in the rejection area of H0, meaning H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Thus, it can be concluded that there is an effect of the problem based learning model on the mathematics learning outcomes of the material of sequences and series in class XI of SMA Negeri 5 Prabumulih, the truth is accepted.
